African Military Games: Algerian national squad in final

ABUJA (Nigeria)- National military football team has qualified for the final of the African Military Games being hosted in Abuja, Nigeria, by beating their Equatorial Guinea's opponents (2-0) Thursday in the semi-final of the tournament that will run until November 30, the Algerian Football Association posted on its official website.

Algeria's two goals were scored by Mohamed Islam Belkhir and Marouane Benzid.

In the final on Saturday, the teammates of goalkeeper Zakaria Bouhalfaya will play Cameroon, which have eliminated Nigeria (1-0).

African Military Games, the sports platform par excellence, are taking place in Nigeria under the theme "Enhancing Military Cooperation through Sports."

The games have brought together African military athletes from some 25 countries, to showcase their skills, stamina and team spirit in 19 sports disciplines.
