Gaza faces “inhumane” conditions as Zionist aggression nears one-year mark

GAZA — The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that health and living conditions in the Gaza Strip are “inhumane” as the Zionist genocidal aggression against the Palestinian enclave approaches its one-year mark.

UNRWA reported on social media Sunday that “massive piles of garbage are accumulating in central Gaza, with sewage leaking into the streets.”

And to add: “Families have no option but to live alongside this accumulated waste, exposing them to foul odors and the risk of an impending health disaster.”

The UN agency reiterated its call for a ceasefire in Gaza, ravaged since 7 October 2023, by a Zionist genocidal aggression that has so far resulted in 41,595 martyrs and 96,251 wounded, mostly women and children.
