BEIRUT — Zionist air strikes in Lebanon have resulted in 88 martyrs and 226 wounded over the past 24 hours, according to a new toll released on Wednesday by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The ministry's emergency operations center stated that Zionist air strikes targeting the cities of Baalbek and Nabatieh in the last 24 hours “have killed 88 people and wounded 226 others.”

A previous toll reported 55 martyrs and 156 wounded.

Lebanese military sources further reported that Zionist warplanes conducted Wednesday at dawn and in the morning “80 air strikes on 36 cities in eastern and southern Lebanon.”

The Zionist entity has been bombing Lebanon since September 23, with air strikes that have claimed a thousand martyrs and wounded over 2,950 people, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
