According to the statement, "49 martyrs and 219 injured were carried to the hospitals of the Gaza Strip as a result of five massacres committed by the occupation army against Palestinian families over the past 24 hours."

The previous toll stood at 42,126 martyrs and 98,117 injured.

The Palestinian Health authorities added that a number of Palestinian victims remained under the rubble or were laid on the streets, noting that the Zionist occupation forces were preventing ambulances and Civil Protection teams from rescuing or evacuating them.

Since 7 October 2023, the Zionist army has been carrying out a barbaric onslaught against the defenceless population in the Palestinian enclave, causing massacres, massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
