“The forum was successful, first in view of the number and quality of participants from several countries around the world, but also in relation to the presence of Sahrawi youths who practically led the entire preparation process,” said Bouchraya, in a statement to APS at the end of the Forum's work.

The success of the Forum is also reflected by “the roadmap adopted at the end of the work and which consists of continuing international mobilization and mobilizing young people around the world to accompany the Sahrawi people in this stage that is both complicated and marked by several diplomatic and political successes for the Sahrawi cause.”

The Sahrawi diplomat also welcomed the fact that the Forum is able to ensure “generational renewal to allow Sahrawi youths to continue their mobilization, to be ready to continue the struggle for independence, and for supportive international youths to bring their support.”

Stressing that the means of communication and mobilization as well as the meeting space have changed a lot, Bouchraya indicated that the message carried by the Forum is also that of “the need to adapt the roadmap and objectives to the new requirements of the Sahrawi people's struggle, to new technologies and to the way of communicating.”

Finally, he said he has “a lot of expectations” for the next International Youth Forum for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, which will be held in Algiers in 2025.[/ecr]
