This meeting witnessed the participation of the deputy minister of the South African government, the president of the Al Jama-Ah party, several political parties from Mozambique supporting the Rif cause, representatives of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), as well as Algerian political parties and parliamentarians.
In this respect, Yuba El-Ghadioui, member of the National Rif Party, delivered a speech in which he praised “Algeria’s unwavering positions and principles, which has always been Mecca of revolutionaries.”
This meeting is “the first of the National Rif Party outside Europe,” he emphasized, expressing hope that the party will organize a “meeting on Rif soil, a dream that will come true.”
“We want to recover our legitimate right that was forcibly taken from us, and this is not a new demand,” he continued, insisting that the party “will never cease to claim this right.”
“The Republic of Rif has never been part of Morocco, just as Morocco has never been on the side of the Riffians who defend their land,” he concluded. [/ecr]
