[ecr]  The exhibition was inaugurated by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energy Bouziane Mahmah, representative of Minister Samia Moualfi , accompanied by the officials of the energy sector.

In his opening speech, he stressed the emphasis placed by the State on renewable energy as well as the efforts made in the field of energy transition and efficiency.

As regards the green hydrogen, the theme of this edition, Mahmah said that Algeria has all the assets to become leader in the production of this new source of energy.

The exhibition is marked by the participation of a big number of national and international major energy players, including Sonatrach, Sonelgaz and GICA groups, as well as Zergoun Green Energy and Total Energy, said the event’s organizers.

This edition will see a strong participation of the Netherlands, the guest of honor, accompanied by a dozen of investors. Members of some diplomatic representations took part at the opening of this event.  [/ecr]
