Saida Radio: Journalist Abdelkader Ammari wins first prize at Arab Radio, TV Festival

SAIDA – The journalist of the Algerian radio of Saida, Abdelkader Ammari, won first place in the competition of the 24th Arab Radio and Television Festival held in Tunisia, Saida radio noted on Sunday.

On Saturday, Ammari won the top spot in the Arab Radio and Television Festival competition in the educational program category.

His winning entry, “Mahr Dayaa”, i.e. “Lost Dowry”, tackles the problem of early marriage and school dropout.

The program “Mahr Dayaa” was broadcast on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on Radio Algeria, from Saida, Abdelkader Ammari told APS.

He added that his triumph at the Arab Radio and Television Festival “is the result of a great effort and ongoing, diligent work with the director, Rabia Khalfaoui.

Ammari further noted that this “motivates him to work even harder to achieve further success and honor the Algerian radio in international fora.”
