The opening ceremony of this event, organized under the slogan “For the building of a strong and modern Algeria,” was chaired by the governor of Oran, Said Sayoud, alongside Turkey’s Consul to Oran.

In his speech, Sayoud said that “this Show is an important event and a space for meetings and exchange of experiences between the professionals in the real estate and construction sectors, and it also allows for establishing partnership relations with foreign companies present at this event.”

He pointed out Oran's remarkable growth in the housing sector, pointing to numerous successful developments across various housing initiatives. These projects, he noted, have enhanced the region's appeal and established it as a premier tourist destination. Sayoud also mentioned that the region now hosts over 1,200 registered public and private property developers.

The official affirmed that his services "will work to encourage this type of event in order to accelerate the development dynamic in all sectors of activity, such as housing and public works to ensure added value to the capital of the West."

The five-day exhibition, organized by SB-Events Com Company, has drawn nearly 100 domestic companies and 20 international firms. Turkey, as the guest of honor, leads the international contingent, which includes participants from China, the UAE, Germany, and Italy. The event also features representatives from CREA (Algerian Economic Renewal Council), specialized housing finance institutions, and vocational training organizations.

For his part, this event’s commissioner, Zoubir Ouali, said that the exhibition has witnessed the participation of Algeria newly created companies, specialized in the manufacturing of construction materials, seeking to market their products notably in the country’s west and south-west regions.
