Bordj Badji Mokhtar recorded the heaviest toll of 16 deaths and 03 injuries in a single traffic accident.

The emergency services of Civil Protection intervened to extinguish 873 fires, particularly urban and industrial ones.

The most major fires were deplored in the provinces of Algiers (117 fires), Blida (76) and Tizi Ouzou (42), added the source.

They also carried out 5347 interventions to rescue 316 people in danger and the execution of 4694 various operations.
