The heaviest toll was recorded in the province of Bouira with 10 people killed at the scene of accidents and 71 others injured in 36 traffic accidents, said the same source.

During the same period, the rescue services of the Civil Protection intervened to extinguish 725 urban, industrial, and other fires, particularly in Algiers (62), Oran (35), and Chlef (33).
