In an inspection visit to the province, along with the minister of the Interior and Local Authorities, Brahim Merad, the minister of National Solidarity stressed the "importance of supporting and encouraging housewives and rural women to make them key partners in the different aspects of development."

After listening to the concerns of local civil society actors, Krikou said her ministerial department was ready to meet the various requests, calling for awareness campaigns for rural women to be active members, especially housewives and rural women who should benefit from special programmes.
