[ecr] In the presence of the Adviser of the President of the Republic, in charge of Education and Higher Education Noureddine Ghouali, the Minister of the National Solidarity, the Family and Women’s Affairs Kaoutar Krikou chaired, with the Minister of Culture and Arts Soraya Mouloudji, the activities of this ceremony, meant to shed light on the efforts made by the State for the protection and promotion of children.
In this regard, Krikou stressed the major interest given by the State to the handling of the children’s concerns, underlining the law of 15 July 2015 on child protection.
She also cited the measures and mechanisms that have been implemented to accompany children, particularly those with special needs to develop their creativity and talent, stressing the importance of strengthening the creativity of the children in the cultural and artistic fields, in coordination with the concerned sectors and the civil society.
For her part, Mouloudji said that the celebration of the National Child Day coincides with the organization of several cultural activities in many provinces, including the performance of plays for children and the distribution of books to encourage them reading, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness about the importance of the cultural environment in child education.
