Chairing the installation ceremony, Mustapha Hidaoui, President of the High Council for Youth (CSJ), said the commission would consider the state of implementation of the National Youth Plan by the sectors concerned, and issue proposals and recommendations in this regard before drawing up the final assessment report, which will be submitted to the President of the Republic at the end of the current year.
Hidaoui recalled that the President of the Republic had insisted, during his recent audience with him, on the need to address the concerns and ambitions of young people.
The 22-member commission, divided into five (5) sub-commissions, will consider, in coordination with the sectors concerned, the state of implementation of the National Youth Plan in the fields of education and training, employment, entrepreneurship and innovation, citizenship and participation in public affairs, culture, sport, information and communication, and scientific research.
The members of this commission would also focus on the difficulties encountered by the sectors concerned in implementing this national plan, with a view to making proposals and recommendations in this respect before drawing up the final evaluation report, explained the same official.
Hidaoui also referred to the activities carried out by the High Council for Youth in 2023 and its methodology for addressing the concerns of young people.[/ecr]
