The spokesperson of the Palestinian Red Crescent, Raid Ennams, said in an interview with the Algerian news agency "APS" that "Algeria has always been a major supporter of the Palestinian People," affirming that "Algeria has always backed us through all trials," particularly with its recent decision to send an urgent substantial humanitarian aid, which reached the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

The speaker said that "Algeria supports Palestine in general and the Gaza Strip in particular, in the face of the brutal aggression it is currently enduring, by sending aid and lending a helping hand to the Palestinian People in such harsh circumstances."

It is noteworthy that Algeria decided, under the instructions of the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to send substantial and urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza, delivered through the Rafah Border Crossing via an airlift operation of several aircraft of the Air Forces of the People's National Army.

The aid delivered primarily includes foodstuff, medical supplies, clothing and tents. The latter shows "the commitment of the Algerian State and its People and their unconditional and boundless solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian People in the face of the ongoing aggression they are enduring, particularly in the Gaza Strip by Zionist occupying forces, amidst an unjust siege," the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
