In a speech made on this solidarity day, organized at the International Convention Centre (CIC) Abdelatif-Rahal, in Algiers, on the occasion of the World Children’s Day (20 November), the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs Kaouter Krikou said that “the Palestinian children are deprived from the right to life with the bombardment of schools and hospitals in Gaza.”
As regards the Algerian children, Krikou stressed the necessity of “making further efforts to protect their guaranteed rights and ensure their implementation on the ground through a social and scientific training.”
Speaking on this occasion, UNICEF’s representative in Algeria Katarina Johansson affirmed that Gaza “has become a cemetery for children, as more than 400 children are killed or injured every day.”
For her part, the deputy secretary general of the Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazaleh underlined, in her speech by video-conference, that “the Palestinian children are subjected to a real genocide,” adding that he Zionist entity seeks to destroy Gaza “by targeting with its constant bombardment hospitals , public infrastructures and services in full sight of the international community and in defiance of all the rules of the international law.”
