The heaviest toll was recorded in the province of Tiaret with five people killed and 38 others injured in 13 road accidents, said the source.

The units of the Civil Protection intervened 812 times to extinguish 482 urban and industrial fires, the hugest ones were recorded in the provinces of Algiers (76 fires), Tlemcen (27) and Blida (26).
