On a visit to Tizi Ouzou to take part in the festivities organized to mark the celebration of the Amazigh New Year, Yennayer 2974, the minister said that “the State's strategy aims to encourage, accompany and integrate the work of rural women in national production”.
At the Yennayer market, the minister who visited the exhibitors’ stands expressed her “admiration” for the displayed traditional products, commending “women for preserving ancestral traditions related to this celebration and passing them to new generations.”
The minister further visited two reception and care facilities for mentally, hearing and visually impaired children, under the supervision of the Ministry of National Solidarity, which made traditional products.
Krikou wrapped up her visit to the village of Tizyouine, named the cleanest village in the province for 2023, where she noted “the spirit and effort of solidarity of the inhabitants.”[/ecr]
