Krikou highlights sector’s efforts in psychological support for people with special needs

ALGIERS - The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Kaouter Krikou, highlighted on Monday in Algiers the efforts of her sector in the psychological support of students with special needs, especially during the year-end exams.

The minister carried out an inspection visit to the School for Deaf Youth, in Rouiba, to inquire about the state of preparations for the 2023-2024 year-end exams, for students with special needs.

On this occasion, Krikou highlighted the efforts of the sector in the psychological and social support of this category, especially through adopting mechanisms for the revision of courses, which are supervised by teachers and psychologists.

The minister noted that “support for children with special needs is provided throughout the school year as part of the sector’s educational program, which is further bolstered during the examination period.”
