The conference saw the participation "of more than twenty international and regional organizations and more than 200 young people from MENA region countries to support efforts to empower youth in the face of climate challenges and build a sustainable future," said the same source.
"Panels, conferences and various activities related to green innovation and entrepreneurship were held on this occasion, in addition to exchanging views on the role of youth in building a sustainable future," added the source.
Speaking during the conference proceedings, CSJ’s representatives highlighted "the efforts of Arab youth in organizing these events and the importance of their participation in the development of climate policies," affirming "Algeria's commitment to supporting these efforts, hence the importance of strengthening common Arab cooperation in areas related to youth, climate and sustainable development," according to the source.
