BEJAIA- Minister of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Youcef Belmehdi, stressed on Wednesday, in Bejaia, the need to safeguard and promote ancient manuscripts, believing that these holdings constitute “a major component of national identity and its history,” and “a vital benchmark of its sociocultural development.”
