The works of Laredj “stand out for the innovative use of new methods of linguistic expression in the novel, enriching the Arab imagination and narration,” especially that his works “belong to the new school to explore new expressive paths, thus leaving his mark on the Algerian and Arab novel,” the organizers of this prize said.
Other winners from Egypt, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia were rewarded in other categories, namely nature sciences (physics and chemistry), medicine, engineering, technology, building, design and economics.
Established in Dubai in 2022, the “Great Arab Minds” Award aims to “discover geniuses, reward them and promote their works in the Arab world,” the organizers said.[/ecr]
