Held at Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Centre (CIC), the event is part of the festivities organized by the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA) to mark the Amazigh New Year, under the patronage of the President of the Republic, in application of one of his 54 commitments to preserve and strengthen the components of national identity and promote research on Amazigh literature and language.

The Prize of the President of the Republic for Amazigh literature and language comprises four categories: "Research on Amazigh intangible cultural heritage," "Scientific, technological and digital research," "Linguistics" and "Amazigh literature translated into Tamazight." [/ecr]
