The minister, who was visiting the Larbi-Tebessi digital elementary school in the province's capital, said that the Ministry of National Education had digitized many operations requiring precision, transparency and impartiality in processing, contributing to the development of the sector, which was now working, thanks to digitization, to prepare and organize examinations for 11 million pupils enrolled in 30,000 schools, in the three levels, employing almost a million workers.
He said that his department was preparing a seminar to assess digitization, which “constitutes one of the effective solutions for the development and progress of the sector.”
A national meeting will enable stakeholders to express their concerns, with the ministry committed to removing any obstacles they face to complete the 100% digitization of the sector.
In addition to producing educational programs using digital books to reduce the weight of pupils' school bags, the Ministry of Education is continuing to supply electronic tablets to schools throughout the country before the start of each new school year, recalled Belaabed.
“We seek to achieve complete coverage of all schools as these tablets are a great help to pupils, who will thus be in step with the technological advances observed in countries all over the world,” affirmed the same official.[/ecr]
