The letter of intent aims to bolster the exchange and cooperation relations between Algeria and Italy in cultural and scientific fields, by taking advantage of the capacities provided by “Med Or” Foundation as a leader of initiatives in the sectors of research, education and culture in the friendly Republic of Italy.

The letter outlines common priorities regarding cooperation, capacity building, vocational training, and the exchange of expertise and experiences in crucial sectors, like high-tech, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, air and maritime surveillance, innovation, renewable energy and digital technologies.

Cooperation will additionally promote the Arabic and Italian languages as well as the two countries’ cultures, through scholarships for Algerian students at Italian Universities, the organization of training programs and sessions for Algerian university graduates, notably at the level of "Leonardo" group firms, aligning with Algerian and global workforce demands.
