Merabi stresses sector’s efforts to support people with specific needs

ALGIERS- The Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Yacine Merabi, highlighted Thursday in Algiers the efforts of the sector to support people with special needs, through mobilizing the necessary resources so that they gain qualifications and enhance their professional integration.

Chairing the ceremony celebrating the National Day of People with Specific Needs (14 March of each year), at the Center for Vocational Training and Apprenticeship (CFPA) in Kouba, Merabi said that the sector provided all the necessary training resources to support people with specific needs and improve their educational qualifications, with a view to boosting their professional integration.

In this regard, the minister pointed out the measures rolled out by the ministry to facilitate the access of this category to training establishments so as to benefit from training in specialties adapted to their capacities, and to enable them to showcase their talents and creativity.

The Merabi underscored that organizing this ceremony was an opportunity to take stock of the accomplishments, ensure to tap into the capacities of people with specific needs and to encourage them to achieve more success.
