During this conference, held on Thursday, the Minister ordered the preparation of "the files to be submitted to the next national conference, scheduled to take place from 29 June to 1 July."

As part of the monitoring of operations relating to the school year end, Belaabed stressed the need to take "all the necessary measures to complete the remaining operations and conclude the current school year (2023-2024)."

These measures include catch-up examinations, the delivery of primary cycle assessment books and success certificates to pupils, enrolment in first year primary school, the results of national examinations, as well as admission and guidance counselling in the post-compulsory cycle, in general and technological high schools," he said.

"The conference will be crowned by recommendations and compulsory measures that will serve as a platform for education directors to help them deal with the various situations experienced on the ground,” said the source.

The recommendations will also constitute a roadmap to be implemented rigorously to improve performance, especially as the Central Directorate's departments will be tasked with providing support, guidance, thorough monitoring and periodic assessment to achieve the set goals,” added the same source.[/ecr]
