"Djilali Liabes" University has been ranked among the top 201-300 universities globally for Civil Engineering, and within the top 401-500 universities worldwide for Materials Engineering and Engineering according to the Shanghai subject-specific rankings, added the source.

The "Djilali Liabes" University has also taken first place in the Maghreb region and second in Africa in Mechanical Engineering, ranking among the best universities (global ranking 301-400).

On this occasion, the ministry stated that this performance confirms the efforts made by all the stakeholders of the University of Sidi Bel Abbes in these academic fields, to promote its visibility and improve its position in global rankings, according to the same source.
