WASHINGTON, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized the importance of ending the Israeli occupation war on the Gaza Strip, over a year after it carried out the brutal genocide against Palestinians.
This came during a meeting that took place in Washington DC, Monday, between Blinken and Israeli occupation Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, US State Department said in a statement.
The meeting discussed charting a path forward in "the post-conflict period" that ensures governance, security and reconstruction. Blinken and Dermer also discussed the humanitarian situation in Gaza, with the Secretary stressing that Israeli occupation "must do more to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance throughout Gaza."
