CAIRO, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- The ninth edition of the Food Africa exhibition began on Tuesday with participation of more than 1,000 exhibitors including 38 from Kuwait including the Industrial Public Authority.
Egyptian Minister of Investments Hassan Al-Khatib, during his inspection of the Kuwaiti pavilion, indicated that the fair, the second largest one at the regional level, is a platform to interact among businesses in Africa and the Middle East. It is a special opportunity to study latest innovations, he said.
The fair, due until December 5, features live cooking shows, packaging presentations and display of farming machines.
The State of Kuwait is represented at the event by the Industrial Public Authority, headed by the director of promotion Hammad Al-Zubi.
The Kuwaiti pavilion displays various food products including coffee, spices and pastries and packaging techniques. (end) as.rk
