CAIRO, Jan 30 (KUNA) - Impatiently anticipated by book lovers from Arab and foreign countries, Cairo International Book Fair has become a special annual cultural platform to share sciences, knowledge and arts.
The fair, which initially kick-started in 1969, is considered an opportunity to promote people-to-people communications, with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), especially Kuwaiti, and world exhibitors are participating.
The event, which winds up on February 5, covers various cultural programs involving symposiums and art shows and include numerous books, drawing large number of writers, intellectuals and readers. (end)
