BRUSSELS, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas reaffirmed Wednesday that Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity are unconditional.
After a meeting in Paris with the participation of France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, the UK and Ukraine, Kallas stressed that strengthening Ukraine and providing it with strong security guarantees is a priority.
In a joint statement with the participating countries, the EU stressed the need for Ukraine and Europe to be "part of any negotiations", explaining that, "A just and lasting peace in Ukraine is a necessary condition for a strong transatlantic security." (end) arn.res
