WASHINGTON, Feb 14 (KUNA) -- US Under-Secretary of Defense for Policy Alex Velez-Green held talks with visiting Bahrain National Security Advisor Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa over defense cooperation and exchange views on regional security issues.
Velez-Green expressed appreciation for Bahrain's support to US-led regional operations as host of United States Naval Forces Central Command (USNAVCENT), and the broader security partnership in light of Bahrain's role as a major non-NATO Ally, the Pentagon Spokesperson LtCol Garron Garn said.
He urged continued cooperation against shared threats in support of President Trump's regional agenda for peace and prosperity. (end) rsr.ibi
