KUWAIT, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ministry of Interior (MoI), through the General Department of Residency Affairs Investigations, announced on Sunday the arrest of a citizen, a Chinese and two Egyptian nationals on charges of human trafficking.
In a press statement, the ministry said the arrest comes within the framework of the ongoing security efforts made by the Ministry of Interior to combat the phenomenon of human trafficking, under the directives of Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.
The ministry reaffirmed its full commitment to impartially enforcing the law, stating that security personnel remain vigilant against any violations, noting that all necessary legal measures have been taken against the suspects, who have been referred to the Public Prosecution. (end)
