KUWAIT, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture and State Minister for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi received UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah Al-Marri on Monday to participate in the ninth meeting of the GCC Ministers of Tourism in Kuwait.
In remarks to KUNA, Minister Al-Mutairi emphasized the importance of this meeting in enhancing tourism integration between the GCC countries, noting that the agenda includes several important topics that contribute to the development of the tourism sector in the GCC.
He praised the pioneering model presented by the UAE in developing tourism, stressing that the exchange of experiences and expertise between the GCC countries enhances their competitive capabilities on the global tourism map.
Minister Al-Mutairi hoped that the meeting would result in practical initiatives that support tourism development in the GCC countries. (end) shd.aa
