BRUSSELS, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday that the European Union wants to partner with the United States to achieve a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
Von der Leyen met with Keith Kellogg, President Trump's envoy to Ukraine and Russia, at the Commission's headquarters in Brussels, where the two discussed the Russia-Ukraine war.
Von der Leyen confirmed that Europe has provided more financial and military support than any other party promising to step up.
The Commission President emphasized that the EU wants to cooperate with the US to deliver a just and lasting peace for Ukraine, stating, "Now is a critical moment." (end)
