CAIRO, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Badr Abdelatty affirmed that his country has developed a comprehensive, multi-stage vision for early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza.
The Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that this came during a phone cal Abdelatty had with Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev, where he expressed aspiration for the international community and European Union to support Egyptian endeavors, as well as discussing ways to boost bilateral cooperation in all fieds.
Abdelatty reviewed regional developments of common interest and exchanged points of view on the latest developments in Gaza, added the statement.
In another context, Abdelatty expressed aspiration for Bulgaria's support for Egyptian interests within the EU institutions, including approving the disbursement of the second tranche of the European support package worth EUR 4 billion (about USD 4.18 billion).
The two sides expressed their aspiration to continue joint work to strengthen bilateral relations, and stressed in the importance of continuing bilateral consultation and coordination in regional and international forums, in a way that serves common interests and enhances regional stability.
