KUWAIT, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Romania Abdullah Al-Shatti has presented his credentials at the Romanian Presidential Palace to Acting President of Romania Eli Bologan.
The ambassador conveyed the best greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Acting President of Romania, and sincere wishes for further progress and prosperity for Romania and its friendly Romanian people, the Kuwaiti Embassy said in a press release sent to KUNA.
For his part, the Acting President expressed his hope for the continued development and growth of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, praising the close bilateral relations that bind the two friendly countries and peoples.
He stressed his keenness to consolidate this relationship in a way that achieves the common interests of both sides and emphasized the importance of strengthening economic relations, wishing broader horizons for cooperation in trade and investment. (end) mt
