ISTANBUL, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Turkish authorities have halted all flights at Istanbul Airport on Wednesday ahead of expected heavy snowfall in the country's largest city, the state carrier said.
Passengers are urged to check the latest updates on their scheduled flights available on Turkish Airlines' website, it said in a statement, citing the possibility of more cancelled flights if the unstable weather persists.
Unstable weather has brought travel chaos to Turkiye, where temperatures are forecasted to plummet to minus six degrees Celsius over the next four days. (end)
