KUWAIT, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Foreign Ministry hosted on Wednesday an expanded meeting with the ambassadors and heads of European diplomatic missions accredited to the country, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the meeting touched on the available opportunities to enhance joint cooperation between Kuwait and European countries in the health sector.
Supporting cooperation in all areas of health care, pharmaceutical preparations and medicines, developing government hospitals, exchanging expertise, training and qualifying medical and support staff, and reviewing ways to enhance cooperation in this framework were discussed in the meeting.
