NEW YORK, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- At least two people were killed Wednesday when two small private jets collided midair in an airport in the US State of Arizona, local media reported.
The US Fox News network reported, quoting local authorities, that the deadly collision took place at the Marana Regional Airport in Arizona.
The Marana Regional Airport is an uncontrolled field -- it does not have an operating ATC control tower.
Pilots utilize a Common Traffic Advisory Frequency to announce their position to other aircrafts. The pilot in command is responsible for maintaining a safe distance from other aircrafts. (end) ast.ibi
