KUWAIT, Feb 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Tamayuz Charity announced several projects aimed at bettering individual's lives and promoting sustainable development in Nigeria and Benin.
Deputy Chair of Board of Directors, Khalil Al-Hamadi, told KUNA of the charity's core belief in creating a comprehensive educational, healthy, and social environment.
He pointed to recent achievement of inaugurating Abdullah Al-Musallam village in Nigeria, home to mosque with a capacity for 300 persons, a school for 600 student, an orphanage for 40 orphans and a farm to ensure sustainability of resources.
Al-Hamadi also spoke of a sharia and Arabic Language College, orphanages, farm and mosque, as well as performance of 300 eye surgeries.
In Benin, Al-Hamadi highlighted a number of projects and humanitarian initiatives, including mosques and educational centers.
Al-Hamadi affirmed commitment of the charity to furthering its humanitarian efforts. (end) slm.aai
