DOHA, Feb 20 (KUNA) -- The Embassy of Kuwait in Doha celebrated on Thursday the 64th Independence and 34th Liberation Days in the presence of a number of ministers, ambassadors, and foreign and local dignitaries.
Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar Khaled Al-Mutairi praised at the ceremony His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
He pointed out that the celebrations are an opportunity to display Kuwait's vision of peace, cooperation, and friendship among all countries and peoples of the world.
Al-Mutairi stressed Kuwait's keenness to strengthen cooperation with the GCC and all Arab countries, in addition to supporting the efforts of the international community towards establishing international peace and security.
He praised the distinguished Qatari-Kuwaiti relations on all levels linked by a strong relationship throughout history, thanks to the care and wise directives of the leaders in both countries.
Al-Mutairi pointed out the Sixth Qatari-Kuwaiti Joint Supreme Committee that sought to strengthen bilateral cooperation, relations, and development in various sectors, by signing a number of beneficial agreements. (end)
