RIYADH, Feb 21 (KUNA) -- A cordial, informal consultative meeting was held in Riyadh on Friday by leaders of the GCC member states, Egypt and Jordan.
The meeting, suggested by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, gathered His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed, Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, Jordanian King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi.
It is part of a chain of regular consultative meetings that aim to strengthen the relationship between the GCC states on one hand, and Jordan and Egypt on the other. (end) kns.gb
