WASHINGTON, Feb 21 (KUNA) -- US President Donald Trump stated Friday he believes that his plan to takeover Gaza Strip is good and "really works" but he will not force it, rather recommend it.

Trump expressed surprise that Egypt and Jordan did not support his proposal.
Arab States, particularly the Egypt and Jordan, rejected Trump's plan and Egypt's announced that it is working on a plan to rebuild Gaza without displacing its residents.
Earlier this month, Trump announced that Israel would hand the Gaza Strip over to the United States after the end of the fighting.
He noted that the two million Palestinians who would be resettled in neighboring countries and would have no right of return.
Trump's plan drew global condemnation and the United Nations warned that any forced displacement of civilians from occupied territory is strictly prohibited under international law and tantamount to ethnic cleansing. (end) asj.ibi
