ISTANBUL, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- The Turkish Airlines said Saturday it was forced to cancel some flights to and from Istanbul Airport (IST) scheduled for tomorrow, "due to the expected adverse weather conditions" in the city.
"In this regard, additional rights have been granted to passengers whose flights have been cancelled," the national flag carrier said in a post on its X account. "For the latest information regarding your flight, you can check our flight status page or make inquiries via TK Asistan on WhatsApp. You can also find detailed information about ticket changes and refund requests," it added.
Air traffic over the Black Sea region has been chaotic over the past three days with dozens of flights being rescheduled due to bad weather. (end) ta.nsa.gb
