RAMALLAH, Feb 26 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation authorities started freeing 641 Palestinian prisoners - the seven batch who were originally scheduled to be released last Saturday.
Thirty-six of the former detainees have already arrived on Wednesday night in Ramallah on ICRC buses and five others arrived in Jerusalem.
The seventh batch of Palestinian prisoners includes 151 convicts serving life sentences of who 97 have to be expelled to Egypt.
It also includes 45 females and children, and 12 residents from Gaza Strip who had been arrested by the Israeli occupation forces before October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Club. (end)
