RAMALLAH, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation troops on Thursday raided Balata refugee camp east of Nablus in the West Bank, killing a young Palestinian in the aggression.
Mahmoud Sanaqra, 25, was shot dead in the shantytown by the occupation forces during the attack, said the public authority for civil affairs, in a statement. The troops kept his corpse.
The attackers also wounded a child, an old man and another young resident of the squalid area.
A camouflaged special occupation force, early today, burst into the camp and when the troops' identity was unveiled by the Palestinian residents, the occupation authorities sent in another squad into the area, opening fire in the direction of the residents and causing the casualties.
The occupation forces have stepped up attacks on the Palestinians in the West Bank. (end) nq.rk
