RIYADH, March 2 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia condemned on Sunday the Israeli occupation government's decision to block access of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Blocking aid into the Gaza Strip as collective punishment is a flagrant violation of international law and a direct violation of international humanitarian law, said the Saudi Foreign Ministry in a statement.
Saudi Arabia renewed its call on the international community to stop the serious Israeli violations, take up accountability for their actions, and ensure aid sustainably crosses into Gaza.
Earlier, the Israeli occupation decided to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, after the end of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement. (end)
