KUWAIT, March 3 (KUNA) - Acting Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah received Monday Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the UN and Head of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) Dr. Mohammad bin Awad Al-Hassan.
During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior and the UN Mission in security and stability were discussed, in addition to efforts to support the rule of law and protect human rights and the mechanism for enhancing coordination and cooperation between the two sides, said the ministry of interior in a press statement.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Hassan expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the ministry of interior in supporting regional security, stressing the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation between the two sides in various areas of common interest. (end) ajr.aa
